This oscillation is transmitted to the ultrasonic cutter and the material to be cut, and heat is generated from the inside of the cutter, then the material is mechanically divided. In contrast to high temperature cutting, ultrasonic mainly uses mechanical energy rather than thermal energy, and has less wear on the ultrasonic cutter.

Cotton and viscose fabrics can be cut at speeds up to 10 m / min on stretcher and cylinder fabric slitter. When the non thermoplastic material is cut, the fiber is processed or the edge of the fiber is fused after it enters the ultrasonic working area.
