working principle
Ultrasonic metal melt treatment system is composed of ultrasonic vibration component and ultrasonic generator: ultrasonic vibration component is used to generate ultrasonic vibration, mainly including ultrasonic transducer, ultrasonic horn and tool head (emitter), and the vibration energy is transmitted to metal melt.
The transducer converts the input electrical energy into mechanical energy, namely ultrasonic wave. Its manifestation is that the transducer moves back and forth in the longitudinal direction, and the amplitude is generally in a few microns. Such amplitude power density is not enough to be used directly. The ultrasonic horn amplifies the amplitude according to the design requirements, insulates the metal melt and heat transfer, and also plays the role of fixing the whole ultrasonic vibration system. The tool head is connected with the horn, which transmits the ultrasonic energy vibration to the tool head, and then the ultrasonic energy is transmitted to the metal melt by the tool head.
